Job Description:

Assists channel marketing leadership with the planning and execution of day-to day activities and projects that directly support the implementation and optimization of an organization s go-to-market resources. This may include but is not limited to: selection of best channel or combination of channels to sell a product, marketing campaign creative services needs, affinity marketing relationships, local market execution and interaction with sales. Part of a team that is responsible for deciding best channels or combination of channels to sell a product, (e. g. telephone, web, vendor/affinity, exclusive/independent/direct agency sales, etc. ) based on the needs and buying behavior of the target market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifies new/emerging channels, resources and intermediaries. Provides input to the development of plans and programs to leverage these opportunities.
  • Assist with Identifying new/emerging channels, resources and intermediaries and develops integrated strategies, plans and programs to leverage these opportunities.
  • Researches the appropriate mix of distribution channels designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of coverage in the marketplace and optimize go-to-market resources.
  • Monitors results via business plan and marketing campaign assessment. Provides information to leadership as they implement changes to plans to drive desired results.
  • May be dedicated to a Project Coordinator role. Engages with marketing and creative team via leading project meetings, making project status presentations, and analysis of project results. Coordinates all aspects that support marketing campaigns other marketing communications projects. Maintains up to date project information; monitors project deadlines, timelines and checkpoints; provides project reporting and measurement; and tracks project budget, work plans, administration and logistics. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Part of a team that plans for the effective development and implementation of longer term distribution channel projects.
  • Provides input to the identifications of resources and skills necessary to support the channel strategy and achieve product sales in the most productive manner.
  • Aids other professionals in the marketing function as well as other functions (e.g. sales, legal, business practices, communications, etc.) in understanding, collecting and coordinating channels marketing requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the principles of marketing campaign development and execution.
  • Knowledge of current practices in managing marketing campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis and sales.
  • Typically 6 or more years of related experience in identifying business opportunities, developing and executing marketing campaigns and plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a closely related field preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have working skills in project planning, executing, and implementing.
  • Ability to adjust to ambiguous work or project environments.
  • Ability to quickly pick up and comprehend foreign concepts and practices.
  • Ability to learn through coaching and expert and analytical.
  • Ability to thoroughly follow direction and plans.
  • Ability to work independently without management or team assistance.
  • Must be an experienced team player.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and advanced business software.
  • Staffing Exceptions to the above Minimum Job Requirements must be approved by the: Marketing Vice President, and HR AVP.
